On Wednesday 1st July, Alchemy Carta opened it’s gates to our customers for the very first Alchemy Open Day! The sun was shining as we welcomed people from the hours of 10am-4pm to gain a sneak peak into how the magic happens from concept to production<\/p>\n

Each customer was given a guided tour around the factory building. Starting at the art and origination department which\u00a0was showcasing beautiful Alchemy paintings that are featured on our catalogue, calendars, t-shirts, art books and many other products and got to talk to the creator and mind behind the tales that surrounded each piece. As well as this they could pick the brains of the designers of our original Alchemy jewellery and other products, finding out how they devise their concepts. From there they moved onto the modelling department to witness how these designs literally took shape and were refined before being sent to final production. Finally they could see through to the jewellery being produced on the factory floor and witness each stage of how the first ideas finally became a reality ready for you to wear.<\/p>\n
On their journey around the factory the customers were also shown the fantastic Alchemy Archive of over 30 years of alchemy products. They were given the opportunity to pre-view our new collection which is being released this Autumn, the 2016 Alchemy Calendar and pre-view our Christmas releases. After all the excitement the weary customers were drawn outside to the succulent smells of light refreshments put on curtesy of McGorum’s family butchers and Hobgoblin Brewery. Rounding the day off nicely as they departed from us with their own Alchemy Goodie Bag. We \u00a0absolutely loved having everyone here and hope that a glorious day of wonder and enlightenment was had by all.
